Mr Rohit Jain

Meet Mr. Rohit Jain, Consultant Orthopaedic Hip, Knee & Trauma Surgeon at Medway Maritime Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, an Associate Teaching Hospital of The University of London, and the lead surgeon at the London Hip Clinic. With a focus on primary and revision hip & knee replacement surgery, Mr. Jain is a fellowship-trained specialist dedicated to enhancing patient care and surgical outcomes.

At the London Hip Clinic, Mr. Jain will be offering minimally invasive total hip replacements in Central London, complementing his expertise in Orthobiologics, young adult hip pathology, trauma, enhanced recovery surgery, and rehabilitation.

Previously serving as Trauma Director and Clinical Director for Trauma & Orthopaedics at Medway Maritime Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Mr. Jain has been recognized for his genuine efforts in improving patient care, receiving the Clinical Excellence Award from the NHS Trust in 2019. He has also been consistently praised by his patients, receiving the Certificate of Excellence award in 2019 and 2020 from the ‘I Want Great Care’ organization.

Mr. Jain’s journey to excellence includes completing his specialist training on the prestigious North Western Deanery Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery Training Program. Following his training, he pursued sub-specialist fellowships in hip & knee arthroplasty at renowned institutions such as the Orthopaedic and Arthritic Institute at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Canada, and the Sir John Charnley Arthroplasty fellowship at Wrightington Hospital in the UK.

His extensive training also includes fellowships in Transitional Lower Limb Arthroplasty and an Academic Exchange Program at the EndoKlinik in Germany. Additionally, Mr. Jain completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Orthopaedic Engineering from Cardiff University during his Orthopaedic Training.

Actively involved in teaching and training medical students, Mr. Jain serves as the clinical and educational supervisor for junior doctors and is an Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor. He also contributes to FRCS Exam Revision courses and serves as a reviewer for the prestigious Bone and Joint Journal.
